Sanyo announces Xacti DMX-CG10 HD camcorder

The camcorder is capable of taking HD videos and capturing still photos of up to 10-megapixel resolution. It features a 3-inch LCD display and weighs just 171g.The Xacti DMX-CG10 supports the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video compression format and real-time interpolation technology that allows movies to be saved as a single file, just like photos, for easier handling on computers and the Internet.

Its other features include motion correction (anti-shake) function and Face Chaser Function for movies and stills.

The price and availability are yet to be announced.
