The SD-card based Everio X will be the company’s first to incorporate a 10-megapixel CMOS sensor, capable of capturing 9-megapixel stills and recording AVCHD format HD video at 1920 by 1080 at 24MBps. The unit is also capable of recording slow motion video at 300fps, 300fps and 120fps. While shooting video, the unit can capture 5-megapixel still photos at a 60fps burst mode for a total of 11 frames. In standard still photo mode, it can burst at 15fps for up to 15 9-megapixel stills.
