Apple iPod Touch 4G 2010

Surprised to see the iPod here? Well, it does have an HD camcorder feature, so why not?

The fourth generation of Apple's iPod Touch offers nothing but improvements, including an HD camcorder, front-facing camera, integrated microphone, FaceTime video calling, Retina Display, gyroscope sensor, and a slimmer, lighter design.

The iPod Touch is the best iPod yet, offering all the fun of the iPhone experience without a carrier contract or monthly bill.

Apple's latest version of the iPod Touch hasn't changed dramatically from the version first introduced in 2007, but the rest of the tech world has. It's now the age of the "app," the iPad, and smartphones both big and small. The iPod Touch shouldn't apologize for being Apple's "iPhone without a phone" anymore; it's just as valid to call it an iPad that fits in your pocket.

Sony Bloggie Touch reviewed

PCMag.com posted their review of the Sony Bloggie Touch, the new camcorder from Sony sporting a capacitive touch screen.

The new Bloggie will be offered in silver or black. Its body looks and feels like brushed aluminum, a departure from the glossy and plastic feeling of the older Bloggie MHS-PM5. The Bloggie Touch will ship in a fancy black box that looks like it should contain a piece of jewelry, but the top opens to reveal the camcorder.

Video recordings on the Bloggie can be captured in 1080p (30 frames per second) and 720p (60 and 30 frames per second) while still images can be as large as 12 megapixels. There's a built-in USB plug so you can connect the Bloggie HD to your computer to transfer media and charge the device. An HDMI port is also available so you can plug it directly into your HDTV to playback photos and videos.

The 3D content can played back by connecting the camera to a 3D-capable HDTV with an HDMI cable or by inserting an SD card with 3D content into the appropriate slot on a 3D HDTV or a Blu-ray player connected to a 3D TV.
